Where things stand
In August 2025, the City of Busselton said it had selected a key proponent and would negotiate a development deed for Hotel Site 1. The City still needs to prepare a business plan for public comment, negotiate tenure with the State and make a final decision on whether to proceed.
Timing
No hotel name, development approval, construction date, opening date or reservations are confirmed in the City announcement reviewed.
